England will grace the shores of Sri Lanka as a part of their winter tour 2014. This will be the second time with in a year England to lock horns with Sri Lanka in an ODI serious. It will be perfect foil to both teams to test their abilities before the Cricket World Cup in Australia. The tour schedule is as follows.

First 2 ODIs and the last ODI will be played in the commercial capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo. Colombo has many attractions and a vibrant night life. Surely when the Englishmen come to the town in December, Colombo will turn into a party mood with the Christmas season.
3rd ODI will be played at the Port city of Sri Lanka, Hambantota. Hambantota is close proximity to beautiful beaches and wildlife. Yala National Park is the most visited wildlife park in Sri Lanka. It is popular due to the accessibility, facilities and diversity in Fauna and Flora. Yala is very popular for sighting of Leopards. Udawalawa National park is famous for wild elephants and Kumana Park is a Bird Statuary especially for migrant Birds.
For the 5th and 6th ODIs teams will move to hill capital of Sri Lanka, Kandy. Kandy is the last kingdom in Sri Lanka and has a rich history. There are many historical places to visit in Kandy.  Pallekele International Stadium is one of the scenic stadiums in the world. Pellekele Stadium resembles the Super Sport Park in Centurion, South Africa.
Sri Lanka is waiting for “Barmy army” to invade the land during the festive season.
